Ken Price
Ken Price
Founding Partner

As a founding Partner of Price Perkins LLC, Ken ensures the focus of the firm to be sophisticated non-biased wealth management solutions tailored to meet each clients individual needs. Ken has worked with several Credit Unions over the last eight years to provide financial planning solutions to their memberships while serving in various leadership roles at a regional wealth management firm. Ken is dedicated to establishing highly personalized solutions and being the key to helping clients reach their financial goals with a firm that provides stability and education to clients.

Ken has been actively involved in the financial planning industry since 1997. Ken graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science-Immunology/Chemistry emphasis. Ken is a Registered Investment Company Products and Variable Contracts Representative, General Securities Representative and Investment Advisory Representative. Ken also maintains Uniform Securities Agent State Law and Life and Health insurance licenses. Ken received the Presidents Round Table Award in 1998 and Rookie of the Year Award in 1998 and 1999.

Ken serves as a deacon and trustee at Beaverdam Baptist Church and resides on a small farm in Hanover County with his wife Amy and their three children.

Dennis Perkins

As a founding Partner & Financial Advisor for Price Perkins LLC, Dennis oversees the growth and strategy of the firm, as well as providing sophisticated financial advice coupled with exceptional service.

Price Perkins provides professional advice and planning, client education, customized solutions and the consistent delivery of exceptional service.

Dennis is a Registered Investment Company Products and Variable Contracts Representative, General Securities Representative and an Investment Advisory Representative. Dennis also maintains Uniform Securities Agent State Law and Life Insurance licenses.

Dennis received his Bachelor of Arts degree with concentration in Economics and Business from Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Virginia.

Dennis is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association, serves on the Board of Directors of the Henrico North Rotary Club and is the Chairman of Stewardship for Gwathmey Baptist Church. 

Dennis resides in Montpelier, Virginia with his wife, Jade and two children, Cayleigh and Dennis III.

Tina Kehoe
Tina Kehoe
Director of Operations

Tina provides operational assistance to Ken Price and Dennis Perkins, founding partners of Price Perkins. She has worked in the financial industry for past thirteen years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Price Perkins Team.T ina is the primary point of contact for Price Perkins’ clients and works closely with Shannon Melton in the planning and development of all marketing campaigns for the firm. She strives for perfection when processing all client operational issues from opening accounts, transfers to account maintenance. Tina is committed to helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Tina is a graduate of Randolph Macon College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and an Associate degree in Women’s Studies. She can read and translate Spanish, Mandarin Chinese and Latin.

Tina resides in Chester, VA with her husband, Jay and daughter, Morgan.

Barbara Hale, Director of Operations
Barbara joined Prospera in 1992, and has learned this business one department at a time, from the wire room to the floor of the NYSE. In her position as Director of Operations, Barbara oversees the complete “Run” team, which encompasses all functions of Accounting, Operations, Technology and Administration. Her goal is to stay focused on the first class customer service her departments provide to our representatives so that they can in turn provide the same to their clients. With more than 25 years of experience, Barbara possesses an enormous wealth of knowledge with an astute ability to mentor and bring out the best in her employees.  She received her Degree from the University of South Carolina, and holds Series 7, 24, 53, 55 and 63 securities licenses.

Wes Shindler, Operations Manager
Wes joined Prospera in October of 1999. As Operations Manager, he is responsible for the overall cohesiveness, efficiency and motivation of the Ops team. His goal is to maintain and provide a consistent high level of customer service offered throughout the Ops Dept. to our clients. With boundless energy and a “can do” attitude, he literally personifies the Run team’s tagline of “Whatever it takes, consider it done”. Wes has a BBA in Business from the University of North Texas and holds Series 7, 24, 55 and 63 securities licenses.

Barb Huber, Relationship Manager
As Relationship Manager, Barb acts as the primary contact and advocate for advisors to ensure that they receive the operational and compliance support necessary to keep their practices moving smoothly. Barb has been with Prospera since 2001 and has over 20 years of experience in operational and compliance areas of the securities business.  She holds the 7, 24, 63, 65 and 87 securities licenses.         

Jim Stone, Trading
Jim joined Prospera in February 2007. In his position as Head Trader, Jim is responsible for all daily activities of the Prospera Trading Desk. Working to ensure Best Executions, expediency, accuracy, and superior customer service to his clients, (our representatives and Institutional clients), are just a few of the challenges he takes on every day. Jim is also an integral member of the overall Operations Dept. with a working knowledge of all Operations functions including reorg, asset movement, account transfer, and new accounts.  Jim holds Series 7, 63, 24, & 55 securities licenses.

Chris White, New Accounts, Trading Assistant
Chris began working at Prospera in August of 2004.  As the New Account Team Leader, he is responsible for ensuring that all new accounts are opened and the associated paperwork is processed correctly while constantly beating our established service standards. In addition to the many duties he performs as New Accounts Coordinator, Chris also handles all incoming ACATS, outside investment processing and assists Jim in the trading room with order entry and execution. During his tenure at Prospera, Chris has established a reputation as a problem solver and consistently goes the extra mile to provide excellent first line customer service.

Jennifer Teager, Products & Services Manager
As Products and Services Manager, Jennifer provides concierge level assistance to our financial advisors regarding the products we offer as well as aligning them with the resources they need to efficiently serve their  clients. Jennifer has been affiliated with Prospera Financial Services since 2003 and currently holds the Series 7, 63 and 55 Securities Licenses. 

Jaci Spann, Operations Support Specialist
Jaci is the newest member of our Operations Team. She has eleven years experience on both the Ops and SA side of the business. In her position as Operations Support Specialist, Jaci is responsible for all incoming and outgoing checks, wires, ACH’s and asset movements.  Jaci receives all BEST email, and ensures that each request is properly routed to the appropriate department in a timely manner. With her knowledge, quiet confidence and exemplary work ethic, Jaci is the perfect fit as a first line contact in the Operations Dept.

German Hernandez, New Accounts Specialist
German began working at Prospera in August of 2006 through a work study program with R.L. Turner High School performing mail, scanning and other general duties.  After graduation, he joined us full time becoming our New Account Specialist and is also currently attending Brookhaven College, full time, majoring in Business.
